My last post made me want to voice this opinion.
Who cares about Africa? They are dying people infested with Aids and who knows what else. I KNOW that sounded very heartless....
Why don't we worry about our problem here before moving on. Why don't we find a better system then welfare. Help more people in America get Health insurence. Speed up the adoption process to help give more children families. Fix the foster care system. Get the homeless off their asses and make them get jobs and start supporting themselves. Reduce crime. Cure Aids here...
There are so many problem we have here and so many people dump monye into foriegn countries to try and help them and reallt it does not benefit America at all.
I am not for world peace.
I am for peace amungst our own people first.

Well, beyond the human side...and trust me I am a right wing conservative, but even I see that you need to care for the human race. I forget the exact quote but someone once said that the death of any one person diminishes us all.
Beyond that BIG point, there is the practical. You help these people, maybe they do not hate us, and we have less enemies. Yes, we could do EVERYTHING for some facets of this world and they might still blow us up, but a few millions now might save billions, and lives later
