Day 7 - Venice, Italy

Today was a very lazy day!!!! We didn't get out of bed until noon and then we went to class from 1-3. After class we went back to our room and did some laundry. I hate washing things by hand! I couldn't imagine having to do that al the time! After that we headed over to the Academia. It was soooo pretty. All the art work was absolutly gorgeous! I saw a painting by Paolo Callari and in this photo it said detto veronese Giustina e Francesco. I wanted to take a picture, but I couldn't. I will google search the image later. After that we walked around to do some last minutes shopping because it was out last day in Venice. so sad. We walked around parts we hadn't been to yet and we ended up walking down De la Chiesa street. Close enough to Della Chiesa so I took a picture! We did our shopping and grabbed a slice of pizza before heading though St. Mark's Square one last time. We got some really good pictures of the sunset too! We are heading out now for some gelato! I looked all over while I was here to get a cannoli, but I couldn't find one. The only ones they had were pasta or cheese filled ones. I wanted ice cream.

We leave tomorrow morning at 11 for Salzburg. They said it is about a 6 and a half hour bus ride and we only make one stop and that is for lunch! I am sad to leave Italy, but excited for what is on the way.
