  Canton Fair to split into 3 phases
<ahref=“http://www.chinatopsupplier.com/buy-Gardening_Machinery/src_product/”>GardeningMachinery</a> The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Brunei
announced the104th session of China Import and Export Fair (also known as
the Canton Fair) has adjustedits exhibition period by splitting its phases
into three. The fair will be held from Oct 15to Nov 6. Each phase will last
five days instead of six with two intervals of four dayseach. All three
phases will be held in the Pazhou Complex, while Liuhua Complex will no longer be used. According to Mr Xu Bing, Deputy Secretary General and
spokesman of theCanton Fair, after splitting the Canton Fair into three
phases, Phase One of the 104thsession will be held from Oct 15-19,
exhibiting large machinery and equipment, smallmachinery, bicycles,
motorcycles, vehicle spare parts, chemical products, hardware, tools,
vehicles (outdoor), construction machinery (outdoor), household electrical appliances, consumer electronics, electronic and electrical products,
computer andcommunication products, lighting equipment, building and
decorative materials, sanitary andbathroom equipment and international
pavilion. After an interval from Oct 20-23, Phase Twowill be held from Oct
24-28, exhibiting kitchenware and tableware, general ceramics, artceramics,
home decorations, glassware, furniture, weaving, rattan and iron artworks, gardening products, stone and iron products (outdoor), household items,
personal careproducts, toiletries, clocks, watches and optical instruments,
toys, gifts and premiums,festival products. After the second interval from
Oct 29 to Nov 1, Phase Three will be heldfrom Nov 2-6, exhibiting men and
women's clothes, kids' wear, underwear, sports and casualwear, furs, leather
products, fashion accessories and fittings, home textiles, textile raw
materials and fabrics, carpets and tapestries, food, native produce,
medicines andhealth products, medical devices, disposables and dressings,
sports, travel and recreationproducts, office supplies, shoes, cases and
bags. After the fair is split into three phases,great changes will take
place on the organisation mode of the 104th session compared withits
previous one, said Mr Xu Bing. Among those changes are: the scale is enlarged further, exhibition period is extended, all three phases will be held in
Pazhou Complexand major categories and exhibition sections will be
rearranged. Textiles and garments,medicines and health products formerly
exhibited in Phase One and cases and bags, officesupplies, sports, travel
and recreation products, food, native produce formerly exhibited inPhase Two
will be arranged in Phase Three. Five exhibition categories will be optimally rearranged into 50 from 34.
