The First Black President?

President Bill Clinton: The First Black President?

Writing this blog gives me the immediate understanding that there will be someone who thinks that my opinoin doesn't matter and that their opinion takes precedence. First and foremost, I am a conservative republican; more toward the moderate leaning right rather than far right with no place to save face.

So when I heard Blacks or African American, (come-si, come-sye) make a statement of calling President Bill Clinton the first black president, I wanted to bury my head in the sand. Let's be real about things! If Bill Clinton was the first black president, He would be wise enough to know that he may offend the very Blacks that always supported him by saying that Senator Obama's chances of being the President of the United States is a "Fairy Tale".  You can believe words are twisted or preceived as him saying one thing over the other, but how about Hiliary??

Hilary Clinton says that Martin Luther's Hope for equality and fairness and rights to Blacks were ONLY realized when President Lindon Johnson made it possible. Its apparent that neither Bill Clinton or Hiliary Clinton have knowledge in what the plight and automatic struggle that Blacks have in these United States of America. So, why would Democratic Black supporters give Bill Clinton that title and support Hilary Clinton for this year's election.

Instead, Black America needs to wake up! Be part of history and learn how to recognize "Slave Mentality". Bill Clinton is no more Black than I am Liberal. Support Senator Obama for his quest to make history. Hell, at least he has a better speech comprehension than Reverand Jessie Jackson does. You can understand every word that comes from Senator Obamas mouth.

Lastly, while commuting to work this morning there was a gentleman who wrote a book, I didn't remember his name, but his book was about three things that voters should be asking the candidates for President. One in particular was to ask the candidate if they ever had any set backs in life that they had to overcome and successfully overcame them.   He immediately said that Senator Obama never suffered any set backs. Think about that. I'm a realist. There is no place in the world like the United States, and there is no place in the world like the United States. Certainly no one can believe that a Black man born to this United States has never suffered any set backs. And to top that off, he has a name that would seemingly be Muslim.

From my account Senator Obama has conquered many obstacles but I can guarantee you that before conquering them, his blackness was an initial set back in some cases. So this isn't much a blast about the Clintons, but a blast at you Blacks who say you're from Africa, and want to be retitled every so often to make you feel good.

Wake up! If you're proud of being an African American, show your pride and start supporting this African American, Senator B. Obama.

Necronomincon, Please accept my comment this way, get very involved with what's going on in our politics but more importantly be involved with what is in our nation's best interest. Whether one agrees with going to war or not, you should think if we are there, we are there to stomp ass, and come back. However, I find that many people aren't engaged enough to make a good decision about their vote. So they vote with their hearts, or vote because the media wants them to vote a certain way, without even realizing it. Mike Huckabee is there because of the media platforming him there, so what happens is the misinformed follow suit. Republicans don't care for him to be there, so obviously it isn't the majority of republicans putting Huckabee in front. John Kerry never had a chance; we republicans were smacking our lips at the choice of John Kerry being the Democratic ticket. This time, its different. I've already made my prediction and that is, the republicans will keep the white house only if, the democrats aren't smart enough to select Senator Obama. We will again be smacking our lips for Hilary Clinton to get the ticket because she will not stand up to what we will ultimately select. And contrary to what you might hear about the republicans frustration for a candidate, we have confidence in each one of our candidates, except Huckabee. I hope you can see how that is coming full circle. Enclosing, if Senator Obama whens the democratic ticket, for the sake of history I may be entitled, for the first time to vote for the democratic ticket.

Mostuffa you seem to be some what educated, so why would a Black American want to support a Democrat in the first place? The Republicans have done more for the Civil Rights of the African American than the Democrats. If an American truly wishes to support equal rights they should vote Republican not Democrat looking back on the historical facts. By the way have you even been to Africa?

Well, actually I've been to africa five times. A black man votes to support the democrats simply because the Democrats give the speach of "i'll give you this" if you support me; exactly like most feable minded people want to hear. And you are correct; but America has short memories so they really don't seem to understand who's done what to advance their status.
