Uh... can someone tell me just what the heck Twitter is? I just signed up for it. I'm so guilty of signing up for stuff I don't need. When email just came out for the first time, I remember signing up for like, 25 free email accounts. While I don't do these things anymore, I just can't seem to resist the urge to sign up for social networking/web 2.0 stuff despite my ignorance of these tools functions...

Isn't it a presence awareness thing that can link your whereabouts say from Facebook, MSN or Yahoo all together by updating one location??

Yeah I think so! I'm still trying to figure it out... I think it may seem pretty cool if you happen to have throngs of people using it as a very watered down version of Facebook status lines. Or simply, I could see also working quite well if few people just like to "follow" you.
