 Trials and Tribulations: Redux
Summerdawn Heartfire hit the icey snow, panting, blood poring from a dozen wounds covering her body. Keeping her hand over the most serious of her wounds, across her stomach, she stumbed into a broken down shack, and began to write.

Greetings in Haste,

As you know, I've been stuck in Northrend for the last 2 months. Arthas army has grown. Exponentialy. And at its head? Illyrian, my former bethrothed. Proditus. One who Betrays. He comes for Azeroth. And his army is vast and mighty. PLEASE! Meet me in Orgrimmar at Doomhammer Gate. We must make this known to Thrall.

From there, she somehow found the where withall, as addled as her mind was from the horrors, to make her way to Valgarde, and take a ship back to Quel'Thalas. From there, she rode Sleipnir, her steed, as hard as she good, delivering the letters to the post master. Three days from now, Summer's Final Chapter will begin.

******************

Coming upon the gates of Orgirmmar, Daeladars looked at his wife. She was as worried as he was, though she showed it more. Her face pale, behind her long black shethe of hair, scratching absentmindedly at Bael's furry mane.

Grunting, Dael pointed up at the mounted figure coming down the ridge. Bedelia,
for her part, gasped at the scars running across Summer's face. Moving forward,
the two women embraced, and Summer clapped Daeladras on the shoulder. Though
they did not always get along, Summer trusted Daeladras more than anyone else.

After brief greetings, Dael asked in his gruff manner to be told of the emergency. What
Summer told them was not at all what they had expected, even after recieving her letter.
Arthas' army approached from Northrend. It was thousands strong and easily 100 times larger
than the force that destroyed Quel'Thalas.

His jaw locking, and looking at his paling wife, Daeladras suggested that, perhaps, now was
a good time to go and visit Thrall inside Grommash hold. Mounting their beasts, the three
Elves spurred off towards the most important meeting the three of them would ever have.

Once before Thrall, Summer and Daeladras motioned for Bedelia to step forward. Due to Dael's
reputation as a renegade, and Summer's of being crazy and violent, they suspected that
Dilly's word would carry more weight, even if she was a warlock.

And they were correct. Thrall, not wanting to believe what he was hearing, was wise enough
to know that, while Summer was indeed losing her grip, she and her friends would not
petition him without good cause. And so, he ordered them to the Hall of Champions. There
they would study the map, and come up with a list of likely first strike targets for both
Azeroth and Kalimdor from Northrend.

The three elves stood over the table for hours, debtaing back and forth where the first
wave of attacks would come.

Summer suggested that it would be Teldrassil. The Keldorei were isolated, apart. Only the
Dranei were close enough to be of aid, and it was still a long boatride from Azuremyst to
Auberdine. Dael shook his head at this. The Keldorei would destroy their portal to the
forest city long before Arthas could ever reach them, and with Velen in the Exodar, Arthas
would not dare attack the Dranei right away.

It was from Bedelia, not the two seasoned veterans, that the best course of action would come.
She suggested that, given it's northern most postion on the map, Quel'Danas would be the
target. Between that, and the Sunwell being there, it was a likely area. From Quel'Danas
the Undead could strike Shattrath and Quel'Thalas. From Quel'Thalas they could move into the
Plague Lands and build resources in their old stomping grounds, recieving reinforcements
from both Stratholme and Scholomance.

For Kalimdor, the only likely enterence, it was decided was Theramore. Theramore lead
into the Barrens where a two-pronged attack could be leveled against Thunderbluff and
to Orgrimmar. But they needed proof!

Summer, knowing that Illyrian had returned to Azeroth, suggested the first place he would go
with any sort of missive, map or plan would be to Baron Rivendare. And so it was that
Thrall accepted their most likely areas of attack, and the idea of going to Stratholme.

Should they find proof, Thrall would affix his seal, and a missive would be sent by envoys
to the Horde, and to Jaina Proudmoore so she could warn the Alliance.

Bedelia was nervous venturing back into Stratholme, but little did she know that this was
where her Story would begin, and the end of Summer's will begin.

They entered the city of the dead, with the geat stuck. Calling on her power, Summer
threw open the gate, and the three elves stormed inside, bloody vengence and hatred
burning in their veins.

Upon approaching the Baroness, Daeladras turned and loosed an arrow, catching Bedelia
in the chest. "SHE'S MIND CONTROLLING HIM!" Summer yelled, and ran at the banshee, hammer held high over he shoulder. Smacking Dael in the head as she ran, he dropped stunned.

Locked in a struggle with the Baroness, Summer and Bedelia were slowly being pushed back.
When all seemed lost, Daeladras stood and gritted his teeth. Knocking an arrow, he pulled
and loosed. The arrow sored past Summer's ear, and deep into the abhoration.

"Let's get moving," he said

And they did. It was a bloody swath that they had to cut through the heart of the old city.
When the finally breached the Baron's inner sanctum, there was a large rune scratched deep
into the surface. And there was the Baron, mounted on his steed, Runeblade in hand.

Charging in, Summer threw up a Shadow Resitance Aura and the fight began. Once the Baron had  been defeated, he capered off, running with his tail between his legs. Leaving behind a piece
of paper, on it...the details of the attack. THe main target? Orgrimmar.

Summer lost what little grip on reality she had left, and Daeladras was forced to bring her
to her senses. From there, it was decided that, due to Dael's inability to lead, and Summer's
reputation for being insane, Bedelia would have to be the one to lead a force against the
Lich King. Horrified at this, she began to panic, forcing Summer to slap her.

This angered Dael, who slammed her against the wall. Harsh words were exchaned between old friends, and after many arguments and words Bedelia finally conceded to lead the force. On
the provision that Summer would until the actually offensive began. The three now make
their way back towards Thrall, with, hopefuly, enough to stall the Lich King in his tracks and
give the races of Azeroth and Kalimdor enough borrowed time to mount a counter offensive.
