Random Post That Doesn't Belong Here
Seeing as none of my other blogs really have an area for life-related news, this seemed like the best place to put it.

As of tomorrow, the company I work for is offically sending my job overseas. I'll be moving to a new contract, goodbye to the company. Hope you have fun losing business, you cater to the wealthiest percentile of the American population who pay for service in a language they understand. (Though, personaly, I have no problem understanding my co-workers in the Philipines.) Infact, business is already suffering.

Also, I picked up Heavenly Sword(s) and Dragonball Z Burst Limit and Lair for my PS3 this weekend. Heavenly Sword is adequate. It's basicaly God Of War without a good storyline. I swear to god it uses the same engine. Burst Limit is ok...I suppose.  The controls are excellent, and they really stepped up the speed of the combat. It actually feels like I'm playing an episode of DBZ.

I have only a couple of bad things: One, the voice acting is repetitive. I don't ever wanna hear Kid Gohan say "Right!" as an answer to a question ever again. They also cheese out on a few things. There are things called "Drama Tiles" which activeate when special requirements are met mid-battle. There is one called "Partner Protection" in which the partner you selected during the battle will leap on-screen in a cut-scene and smack your opponent.  The "smack" is a black screen with a pulse of yellow light.

Also, when the computer is down on their luck, they take to being a noob. What I mean is they start using the same attack. Namely, the special attack. I was using Broly last night and fighting Krillin. He was almost dead, but he kept using Destructo Disc, and killed me. I was highly annoyed.  Lastly, the cutscenes leave a lot out, and some things that the characters say seem...out of place. You can tell it was a word for word translation from Japanese to English. Also, the characters say "D...D...DARN YOU!" a lot. And say "I won't forgive you!" an awful lot too.

Lair was just awful. I have nothing good to say about it and the people who made it should be ashamed. Go play in traffic.

I rented Meet the Spartans. It's on the lines of Scary Movie, but for 300. It's pretty well done. Kevin Sorbo is hilarious, and his son "Sonio" (pronounced Sun-ee-oh) are excellent in it. It's very well done, and very funny. Though I would reccomend watching it with friends, it's kinda hard to get through on your own.

I also met someone over the weekend. She's a very sweet girl, very kind, very honest. So, we'll see what happens. She's a great girl, and I'm already privilaged to know her. So, we'll see wher things go from here.

Also, had a massive virus on my computer. I lost the novel I'd written. Everything is gone. 1year of work...down the tubes. So, I get to start again. For which I'm very pissed.

Downloaded Blueberry Boat by The Fiery Furnaces. It is a magnum opus, that's for sure. I have to ask where these guys have been all my life, this brother sister duo have it together. Their stuff is worth a listen, that's for sure.
