| Failure is an Option |
One of my intentions for 2008 is to do a bit of risk-taking. Thus far, I have the support of Frenchy...
Anyway, in being confronted with regular day-to-day events, I am struck by this sense of wanting to only pursue tasks which I believe will be successful my way. It has been much more fun setting the intended outcome "lower" allowing that failure is an option. By doing so, a whole bunch more activities look interesting to me.
The next big one will be leading a group of 150 in connecting activities. It will be with the whole group, live in a room. Initially, this was not how I wanted to do it. I felt a more stealthy approach would be more effective.
But no, the council has given me 20 minutes as part of our 3 hour agenda.
Possibly the most exciting part is that wonderful, fabulous, creative ideas have popped into my head for use during this activity. Should I accept this mission, it will be on January 19th. I will let you know who it goes! Could be a hoot!
