Hi all, I hope i haven't worried any of you. The last few days have been a bit 'edge of the seat', those of you who don't know, my mother in law has lukemia, last tuesday she went back into hospital for what was hoped to be her final couple of sessions of chemo, the last 6 or 7 hadn't even scratched the surface, they had no luck with the bone barrow, as finding a match seems impossable, they have considered this Stem cell thing too, but there was a massive chance that it would kill her before her body decided if it would respond well or not, so the last month or so she has had this cough, they tried everything to get rid of it but it wasn't going anywhere, now they have found after a scan, that one of her lungs probably packed up four months ago, which i don't understand how no one noticed, anyway, so they find an infection and fluid in the working lung, they have established that the lung infection which caused the cough was given to her my her mother just before she passed away a few weeks ago.
Saturday they said because of the fluid on her lungs that there was a big risk of her catching pneumonia , which would have been the end pretty much, but now they find that she also has a bowell infection too, so the chances of her surviving the week are slim, they wouldn't stop the chemo, but this session ends at midnight tonight, so if she can get through the next 48hours, then we might have her for a little longer.
The business is at a critical point aswell, its all or bust right now, and with everything else going on its a struggle to keep our heads above water, we have been living hand to mouth the last few months and this was supposed to be the time that all our hard work started to pay off, but the last weeks have taken their tole of the both of us and we are feeling a little 'sink or swim' right now, and in the midst of all this we are supposed to be moving house in ten days, so its a bit of a rough ride at the moment, but we will get through it, nomatter what, so if i am away for a few days at a time or vanish suddnely please, no one take it personally, we both have a lot to get done and a lot to deal with at the moment and i will be back, i will probably hang about for a while now as i have a little time, he is finally having a sleep, and we probably wont be nipping of anywhere tonight, hopefully anyway, there are a lot of bank manager chats going on at the moment so he is totally drained bless him.
anyway, i just thought i would send you an update, sorry if this makes little sense i am rather sleepy myself

You have such a great support system on this site; you are loved and respected by everyone here. Feel free to call on anyone if you need to "vent". I will continue to pray for your family and especially your mother in law. I pray that she doesn't suffer during her final moments with this dreadful disease.

I hope you don't mind, but I've set a crystal grid for the whole situation, often concentrated energy, like prayer can lift you up and help carry you through hard times.... and in the case of crystals, they are especiallu good when there's such a drain on your energy reserves.
If there is ANYTHING I can do to help... you know I'm only an hour and a half away... just shout. That includes anything practical with the move. As misselusive so wisely points out, you have a family of friends here, now is the time that we're here for you.
