I left the last part of the story as a bit of a cliffhanger, i heard this song the other night and i think it has given me a direction for what happens next, but i wonder if its only me that gets these sort of emotions from particular songs, thats why i thought i would ask first :)
Sometimes it's best to wait for inspiration hun. It's often from lyrics or a simple sound that prompts a resurfacing of memories ar ideas.
A scent or a summer breeze can be as powerful. Whaerever your inspiration comes from, it's all valid in my book.

I too get very strong emotions from songs.
I think sometimes it is easier to find yourself in song lyrics.
