 Old poems #1

I should be laughing but i'm not

I hope you can't breathe without me
you will eternally grieve without me

Your problems are no longer mine
You've destroyed your own lifeline
Slammed the door that gave you air
Now suffocating 'cos i'm not there

You know now that you needed me
Don't you wish that you had believed me?

Don't tell me it was someone elses mistake
(you thought i was)
To late, (I wasn't) yours to break

I owned you do you realise now
Your world is falling its time to cry
You're watching all your dreams die
and everyone knows just why

You don't think that you deserve it
enjoy it though i think you've earned it
why though, after all you've done
Am i not laughing?

i wrote alot of angry poety after i split from my ex, it was a long time ago now, so everything is cool, x

I can relate.
To watch someone bleed for us.
Most will not admit it, but we all like the ones who hurt us to suffer a bit.
I know I did.
Yet, now I feel kind of bad for it, but I can so relate to this poem.
Peace

This is very timely as a friend's departure (yesterday) hurt me and left me sad. I wonder if he will ever have feelings of regret for letting me go. Great writing ... thanks for sharing. Peace.

Some people think that whole 'treat 'sm mean keep 'em keen' attutude is funny, but for some unknown reason it works, Difficult i think we have all let someone make us feel this way at some time in our lives, male and female, its great to come out the other side in one peice x

Colorado, if your friend is worth anything one day they will realise what they have lost, i split from this guy over 8 years ago now, and he still tries to weasel his way back into my life from time to time, he knows what he had and lost, so i guess in the long run, now i feel nothing for him, i can finally be strong enough to stand up to him, and maybe rub it in his face a little that he cant have me back hehe is that wrong of me? x
