hey Ben, i know we don't know each other to well, but i am gonna nag you anyway ha ha
no seriously
you know its the drink, you know you behave wrongly, no respect for women, yet desperate for one who will grab you by the balls and straighten you out, make you happy, but
There is a woman somewhere who has no interest in your looks, disaproves of your drinking, but she will have a soft spot for you, but she wont give in so easy, she will have heard the charm a thousand times before, and she will laugh at you, you will love this woman instantly (you will not feel good enough for her, for once you will be the grateful one)
she will be the ultimate prize
you will win her over, but on her terms
you will never be sure that you have won the prize and you wont go off her when you are sober, because i suspect, her influence on you will make you at least cut down on the booze, she will never be 100% available to you, even if you marry her..you can see where this is going,
raise your standards hon, seriously i challenge you, next time you go out on the p*ss, aim a little higher, go after someone who isn't in your league
so what if you are eye candy, she wont be impressed, she will help you
no i am not being psychic, and no you don't have to take any notice of me, but i have a friend very much like you here in the UK (another story)
but seriously do it, raise your standards, stop chasing the nearest bimbo, or naive girls, look for someone a little older, a little smarter (in dress and mind) give yourself a real challenge x

what you do is (i just figured this out last night)
change the picture,save changes, log out, then find your profile and you will see the changed pic, then when you log back in it will be changed
sounds crazy but its the first time i got the pic to change straight away!

i think you are such an amazing couple, my mother in law has leukemia she was diagnosed 6 months ago, she and her husband are living each moment as their last, forgeting the past and living in the moment x

i think the only thing all of us look forward to about old age is the fact that we can drive everyone nuts and get away with murder!
my grandparents on my dads side were horable people, but shockingly as they got older their 'selective memory' kicked in too! strange that isnt it, and when they get old no one wants to upset them so we have to bite our tongues and make nice!

we have to mourn any loved one that we lose, some people think that a pet isn't important and we should get over it, but i believe that a pet is a family member and it is very traumatic when they leave us
i'm so sorry that you lost two at once, one is bad enough, be strong honey x

i know the feeling hon, i love to draw, write, generally being creative, sometimes it feels asthough i might explode if i don't do something, but nothing comes out it is frustrating :(
You sound like a very strong person on the outside but not so much on the inside, i hope you find where you are going on an easy path, good luck, and thoughts is a great place to open up, this place seems to be able to help us all open up and let things go

although this one isn't convinced, if you are telling the truth, and you build these idea's around a 'hook' then that proves to me if no one else that you are a fantastic writer, to be able to come up with these amazing works with no personal experience in any of the areas that you write about, and i would go as far to say that you would have to be the best creative writer on thoughts, and i hope one day you get published so more people can read your work.

You are right that suicide is very selfish, don't feel bad for thinking that way.
i think if we all look at the people we know, there is always at least one who seems to be a closed book, maybe this is a reminder for all of us to take the time to talk to the quieter friends and check on how they are doing.

I think you have found a few people who understand you to some extent Miss J, and many more who try very hard to, but sometimes we need one person to understand us, and if they don't then we cannot be happy,
i think hughman is right, you have to understand yourself completely before you can begin to explain and show who you truly are to another human being, and then i think we have to realise that for someone to truly understand everything about us, they have to be inside our mind, and in all honesty, we are the only ones who have the capability to know and understand ourselves, and i know most of the time, i don't understand myself

i have to say this has to be one of the wisest and inspiring peices you have written so far, i think you are still growing, still learning, sometimes the ones closest to us are the ones we forget to forgive, the ones who we take for granted, we forgive some everything, and we seem to forget that carrying around resentment hurts us more than anyone else, reading this post Miss J, i am seeing you with new eyes, and it makes me love you so much more, i sometimes forget that as much as you help and guide us all here on thoughts, you are still on a journey too, and i think you have just turned a very difficult corner, i get the feeling that the veiw round this corner is beautiful

We have all heard a thousand times that if our dreams became reality they would only lead to disapointment, and we would have nothing to dream about or wish for anymore, although as our dreams are very similar i can completely understand the temptation to want them as reality, if not just for answers.
You don't have to give up on your dreams and live a life unhappy, just change something small, make yourself happy, but we have to do it, no one can give us the moon on a stick as much as we think we might want it.
Miss J, some of the things you dream of will be realised, but in their own time, and you know that, you will see and have all the things you dream of, but not til your time comes, be patient, and enjoy the life you have been blessed with for now,
one day, Miss J, your prince will come
