I went to my Live account this morning to find that someone has taken my ID and used the email address to open a bogus account on Ebay
I have threatening mails from various ebay members about non payment of goods! i have mailed ebay about this and just hope that they have an address for whoever the conning bastard is!
So i have removed my chat ID/email address from my profile, and i advise you do the same, if you want my address you will have to mail me for it as i am really worried about this now, that missmarie account has only been open a month or less, and it is only on public display on thoughts, and it is set to private on MSN itself, so i just hope that ebay can sort this out!

I agree - I DON'T share that information, just too sceptical about people I guess - that is also why my user profile is private.. oh except to friends.
I hope you get it solved quick.

Well miss marie, it has just happened to me as well. Apparently someone on Thoughts is using our e-mail addy's in an attempt to scam things such as credit card and bank info. Because of this, I am removing my chat ID's along with other precautions. Ya'll watch yer backs out there!
