but everytime we are apart
our hearts yearn to be together
because they were meant to be

and the further the dictance
and the longer the seperation
the more our hearts hurt
because they are missing the other piece

the piece they need to be complete
to beat as one
and to make a new heart
that unifies our love

and then one day
after hurting so much
and struggling to be as one

is a numbing pain

we can ignore the pain
most of the time
like a slight headache
but then I see your picture
and my heart feels your heart
