She could hardly see, opening her eyes was too painful to bare.
She was ashamed, ashamed of admitting the truth.
She knew it had to be done but she was putting it off.
Lying seemed so much easier to live with than admitting she was not
in control.
She was on a constant roundabout, forever going in circles.
She enjoyed the ride sometimes and at other times it made her physically sick.
Her smile fooled everyone, including herself.
Her time spent reflecting on everything just ended in a complete nothingness.
Highs and lows, more lows than highs.
People would think her a crazy fool for living like she does but who is to say
that this is not how it is mean't to be.
Wiping the tears from her swollen eyes she decided that writing it all down would
be far too dangerous, instead she decided to carry on the lies.
She was afraid, afraid of absolutely everything, but nobody would know,
she would carry on being the strong person everybody thinks she is.
The person everybody admires, everybody wants to be, not a care in the world
and no worries on her shoulders.
She will be the lie that everybody knows to be truth.
She will be someone else.

For all the world this could be me... or my neighbour. Or even you.
This is the sickness of today's world, our intuition about the balance of other people's lives seems to have been all but lost. Instead we rely on smilies on a pc, winks to indicate whatever mood the writer wants to convey, not maybe what's really going on.
{{{Hugs}}} if this is you honey. hang in there. xxxxxtantricxxxxx

Forget everyone else, just be honest with yourself.
Really, it is ourselves that we end up answering to.

I wouldn't bother trying to be what you are not. That kind of stuff takes way too much energy and the outcome is never pleasant. Be true to yourself no matter what the consequences are because the conseqences of pretending to be something you're not are always worse. xx
