 Love for a child
What do you think about?
At such a young age
enjoying playing your games
and learning at every stage

There is no tommorow
or even next year
just happy living and playing
and shedding the odd tear

It scares me to think
about the day you realise
this world is not just
fluffy clouds and blue skies

At this moment in time
i will keep you safe and warm
protect you from this world
and all of its harm

I loved it, really!!!! it scares me to think of the day when my daughter won't want to be around me all the time, it may drive me crazy at times but I will miss it when it's gone. :)

I love your poem... it's so hard to put into words the love we have for our children. Plus, I always sang this song for my kids...this one and one from John Denver "For Baby, For Bobby" Do you know it? Kids love it!
