I went to a Pro-Life rally today. They are going to put in the largest abortion clinic in the US here in Stapleton, CO. I was so angry because 1. They're building under a false name, and 2. It's in the middle of a neighborhood. I can't believe this! So I went and protested...of course they all had to sit and pray...like that will do anything in our Constitution. But still, it's the thought that counts right? Anyway, there was a guy named Will there...He's heading this entire campaign. He said something that brought me to tears, of course I'm pregnant so that doesn't take much but still:
"You know, the women in charge of the Pro-Choice movement often criticize men who are in charge of the Pro-Life movement, but this is my response to that. There are two victims when it comes to abortion; women and children. And every true man, every real man, in the core of his being wants to defend, and protect the dignity of women and children, and that is why I am here."
So why couldn't my Will do it? Who knows...maybe the time just isn't right...wasn't right. I don't know. I guess there are a lot of good men out there. I'm just trying to heal. I need to heal.
By the way I hated that movie Eight Below...they killed 2 of the puppies...the ones I liked too...

Dear misschief31,
Your topic is so contreversial that I wasn't sure if I should comment.
I am truely torn between the two sides of abortion, but then I come down to what is a persons rights?
When it involves pregnacy I feel it is 100% the rights of a woman to make her own decision period end of dicussion.
I feel the same holds true with doctor assisted siucide.
I live in a state of pain every day of my life due to an accident back in march of 2000.
Government has tied the hands of my doctors so it is immpossible for me to get pain pills strong enough to relieve more than half of the pain.
I was physically, sexually, and mentally abused throughout my childhood.
I have been diagnosed with bi-polarism along with post traumatic stress disorder.
If it were not for my personal belief in my God, I would have long ago taken my own life.
That is where I draw the line between what I want for me, and what is of anyone elses business.
I feel the same is true when a woman decides to have an abortion, it is nobodies business but her own.
There are many practical reasons for an abortion; (rape, incest, deformation) just to name a few.
You should not protest things that do not affect you personally, and I'm willing to bet that you don't know a damn thing about anyone woman who finds herself needing a legal abortion.
You religious self righteous radicals have brought about more death and wars than anywoman who decided to end a pregnancy!!
Mind your own business for I am sure that you have sinned way more than most.
Love & Peace,

In response, yes...it is a freedom of choice. That is why I'm a single, expectant mother. I'm only asking for the acknowledgement that it is a child...if a woman is going to have an abortion, she'll have it regardless of whether or not it's legal. Even before Roe V. Wade women had abortions...granted technology is nowhere near where it is now, and it was unsafe then, women were rarely ever charged.
You can be angry at me for protesting. That's fine, but don't call me a radical. I've done nothing more than place roses at the feet of Planned Parenthood facilities. If that offends women who recieves abortions in some way, I'm sorry. Again. It's their choice. Just as I made mine.
