About Me
About Me
I'm a work-at-home writer and author of the book Fear of Writing: for writers & closet writers. As of June 19, 2008 I'm the proud grandma of Atreyu, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I enjoy a good cappuccino and laughing with my husband. One of my biggest satisfactions in life is helping other writers.

Hi hoppity - Thanks for posting on my blog! Everything you said above makes perfect sense to me (except I would add "good coffee" to the list). I have a huge need for privacy and quiet and, fortunately, I get that in abundance in my present lifestyle. I work at home and don't know anyone yet here in Jackson (we live in Brandon, having moved here from New Mexico) so my husband, when he's home from work, is virtually my only company. I like to have my house very quiet, except for maybe some meditational type of music playing. When people come over they comment how they can't stand the silence in my house. Whereas I feel like fleeing when I go visit someone who keeps the TV blaring! So I can totally relate to how you can be put over the edge by things that other people think are weird. Your job sounds very demanding and I admire you for doing that work. My work is all about giving positive attention and support to writers who (for one reason or another) have been having a hard time believing in themselves. I believe that some positive support in life is crucial. I hope you get lots from doing your blog! This entry on what you need to survive was very honest, personal and heartfelt. Riveting reading in my opinion! Best Wishes - Milli (posted in Opinion)
