is my birthday! The 23rd of January! 
What a great day it is? In actual fact, it's a cloudy, rainy, overcast day. So much for summer?
Well this is my first blog entry, and I just wanted to start off introducing myself.
I'm a girl living in a neat, suburban house on the east coast of Australia.
I like art, reading, sport and music, but mostly music. In these blogs i'll mostly just write about music im into and things that interest me, and occassionally other significant events going on in my life.
I have several obsessions in my life. These include sweet Gold Coast indie band Operator Please (best. band. ever.), Harry Potter series (books and movies), the Jonas Brothers (my favourite thing from Disney since Mickey Mouse), Kid Nation (Michael, Laurel, Anjay, Michael, Alex, Zach & Morgan) and gymnastics.
I'm in a few fun bands with friends - FPR, Fruits and Infinite.
My all time favourite bands include Operator Please, Powderfinger, Josh Pyke and Little Birdy (woot go Australia). I love Indie, rock, blues, funk, acoustic, folk and alternative. Right now i'm into blues, jazz and funk. Im really interested in Ratpack aswell. And old musicals.
Some new music i'm interested at the moment include The Basics, Augie March, Old Man River, Soul'd, Kate Miller-heidke, Sarah Blasko, Clare Bowditch and the feeding set, the Wombats, gotye, postal service and the panda band.
