George and Lennie got to the ranch where they meet Candy that says the Boss is angery that they are late. They talk about the boss alittle Candy says he a nice guy. Then the boss comes in ask a few questions to both then he thinks its strange that George answeres all the questions for Lennie. George says he was kicked in the head by a horse when he was young so that is why he is not so bright in Georges eyes when that really did not happen.
