Ok,
So you meet someone, you hit it off, and the next day they are gone. But they leave a lasting impression that you cannot get out of your mind!! Of course you exchange contact info and promise to keep in touch, but are not sure if this is just a scheme or for real.
So you make the first contact. You wait. And you get a reply - "had a great time... missing you". You're heart skips 1000 beats and you are elated. You reply and wait - still skeptical. But not wanting to be.
The more you think of the time you had together, the more excited you get and think of the possibilities and then the impossibilities.
You hope this is for real and not just a scheme, but if it is for real... will it work?
You feel like you have met this someone for a reason and you want to find out why. So you keep waiting for that reply and keep wondering: "what if".

a chance encounter like this is very exciting. in my younger years i had a few of them and i recall the feeling you are going through. my advice is to just enjoy the moment and make the most of it. don't worry about what will or will not come of this in the future. just enjoy it the the fullest in the present. have fun!
