| What Humbles Me Here, For *IRISH MIKE* |
Irish Mike I want you to read this as a friend because you are one like so many who has touched me here. I know what your struggles are and bless you:) This is based on many I know here but Mike's situation hit home with me. You know he knows something I know in my life that you can only understand if your in it and that is the pure heartache that you can go through seeing your kids have health problems.
Sometimes people join your friends list and they read apon your struggles and your happy side and they are in silence of their own life situation. Just by looking at them I am shocked sometimes because they appear to be so positive and their life just looks perfect really. Then you hear what is going on at home and it breaks your heart. You know sometimes they just don't wanna bring up their own reality in life. Their way of fighting it is to try to have fun and distract themselves from too much worry. You know be as positive as possible. Not just that but struggles are an eye opener really. You sorta do wake up and smell the coffee and many decide to drink it before it gets cold if you know what I mean. LOL, or you can do it like Mike and make sure it is completly cold before you drink it. It is whatever makes you happy if you get my drift:)
Really that is the way to deal with things because we as humans must stay strong. I have done this myself. Though I do know one thing is for sure. I am not alone. You know there is nothing really harder than worrying about your own childrens health, but to sit back and cry about it all of the time really does not help them at all. You must stay happy in order to function. Now this does pertain to myself but it also pertains to so many I know here. I am humbled by the heart really and have done things for people I never thought I would do because my heart just would not let me pass them by. I know what it is like and it is a tuff road, but you know special people like you guys make me know I am not alone and you walk with me and I would gladly give you my heart and try to help you because I know souly what it is like.
I hope that one day all of my friends who go through so much become blessed with an over whelming unexpected blessing in life for whatever their struggles may be. Big or small. There are many more issues here than what Mike and I have been through. I know this, but when you go through things yourself it does humble you to help try to be a sheild of support for others. Just a thought from the heart :)
