Ahhh…
The sound of the rushing waves, soft keyboard, the taping of computer keys….All have settled in for their nightly rituals (for now). I thought this would be a good time to sit down and try this out. I am new to “blogging”, I’ve yet to decide how it is different from journaling but I’ll go with it, and figured I would wait to post my first post for a time when my household was a bit more still. I need an outlet for the many musings that go on inside the clutter of my head and frankly, I enjoy writing.
I guess a little about myself would be a good place to start. I am a mother to a wonderful almost one year old, a wife of 7 years to a PhD candidate in polisci, I am a graduate student in Sociology trying to piece together a thesis on a topic that I have decided I hate but am to far into it to change topics and who’s real passion is Literature or History and I also currently hold the best job in the world: STAY AT HOME MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!
I am a Christian and I live way to far away from my family. I got married when I was 18 for all the right reasons and no outside baggage, I like to garden, cook, eat, shop… I was born and raised in GA, not my current location, and at one point did not want children! My daughter is my life’s joy. No matter what kind of things are going on in my life, a simple smile from her can make my heart melt and my stress end.
I cannot say that this blog will prove to have any consistency to it as I have a lot of interests and as with most people, opinions on the things I am interested in. SO, we shall see how this turns out!
