| I think about this all the time now. Everyone I talk to doesn't seem to have a clue about what is happening and why. I'm in my last year of High school and already accepted in the college of my choice. I am hoping college will have more interesting and well educated people. Part of the problem is that my family are all college graduates. My grandfather is a diplomat so politics was often discussed at dinner. Perhaps I have changed and my friends haven't. |

I think part of it is that way too many people spend way to much time talking, for the sake of being heard, in the first place. The more you talk, the less you think and thus, the more stupid things said.
And yes, maturity plays a role; I use to say all kinds of stupid stuff! Now I talk a lot less and think a lot more. :)

I think its slightly immature to loathe people who do not have the same capacity as you. Thats like laughing at disabled people. It's what you do when you are young (therefore immature). Being mature is about understanding the world and its people. You obviously don't.
No offence just my opinion. |
