Things are good....busy, but good.
We went to Chace's softball game tonight. They won both games, they were so excited!  After the game, Chace came up to me and asked how I was feeling.  She asked me if I felt normal.  Bless her little heart...she is such a good girl!  Someone asked if I was "hungry".. Truthfully, it hasn't been to bad.  Although today, I kinda missed the taste of a hot dog that a kid at the game was eating, LOL.
We did a catering job last week.  They had a cake from Reasor's.  I laughed and said that nothing had really "smelled good" since surgery, until we took that cake out of it's box!

I am eating eggs, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, tuna, yougurt, etc.  Sometimes, I wish I had a camera to take pictures of people's faces.  I would have loved to see the face of the lady at Sonic, when I asked for a water w/ dt. cherry and dt. lime, or the lady at the rest. this afternoon when I just ordered the "lite plate", cottage cheese, boiled egg and tomatoes, (Jon got those).  She said..that's all? no meat?  I have become a very cheap date, hehehe.

My new fav thing: Sugar-Free snowcones! They rock!

I go to my first follow-up visit with my Dr. on Monday. I have not been exercising.  I am hopeing that I can resume next week.  We have had a bike in the basement and I took it in today to have it checked out and cleaned up.    There is no place to ride it at the house, so I am thinking about riding it around the industrial park.

The remaining part of this week is crazy! We have a dinner Thursday night, and two weddings on Saturday, and then the Band Banquet next week. Friends to the rescue again.....I AM SO BLESSED!

I mentioned earlier that I wasn't ready to make public what I weigh...well I have changed my mind, so here goes....
My first visit to the Dr. was Feb. 25th.  I weighed 255.5 lbs.  2nd visit: March 21st: down to 244.5  Day of surgery: 242
Current weight: 234.
Total weight loss to date: 21.5 lbs.  Goal weight: 175, what my drivers lisc, says I weigh.
I have set my weigh-in day as Wednesday.  I will weigh in the morning..Oh wait...it is morning!

Thank you all for you support, encouragment, emails and prayers.  I have only just started my journey. Thanks for coming along!

PS.  Are you on a Relay for Life Team yet? I would love to have you join our team. Let me know if you are interested!!

I just got my blog set up, I'm documenting my progress as I go along, so will be fun to watch yours!
