 Gifts That Give Back
I wonder why i see many smiling faces when they have gone from a party or any affair for that matter. The joy from watching a performance smiles back. I consider it a gift. The performer shared and that is smile for the heart. Even a kind word is giving tool and the peace derived is a gift. I won't emphasize the gift of love for that is universal. Everybody accepts. The unique gifts are the unseen ones but felt. Singing a beautiful song to a crowd is a gift to many who listens. A tender pat at the back is a gift to an elder. A kiss from an innocent baby if he does is a rare gift. An accepted article for a writing forum is a gift. An Internet tip is a huge gift. Many more. You can't count everyday gifts coming unexpectedly. And simple exchange for all of those precious gifts, i can say is the pinch from the heart. A certain feeling that you can't explain and that is a gift. Receiving joy is immeasurable.

The privileged ones are the easy givers, don't you doubt? Yes, but aren't you aware that charity givers are the most privileged? Many remain unanimous but some needs to be acknowledged and that's fine. A simple approval for them is enough to save the day. Rich ones are easy to please. Their riches are really gifts. It is given to someone because he did give to someone. As simple as that. The law of karma never fails.

Considering the takers, I know are many. I for one love to receive. There are times I don't feel like giving and surprisingly, a feeling that something is missing. Sometimes, trouble comes. It bothers and it is not a gift. It is a curse reminding you to think of others more than yourself. Giving doesn't dictate time. Receiving is always there on bay. Even a simple discovery from a small reading is not only a gift. It is a treasure. The kindness afforded and the abundant sharing from the Internet is extensive. And many are free. And many are enjoying. Many are relieved from gargantuan tasks. Thanks to the ether. No wonder Internet is short of a miracle. And what are miracles for. It is already given.

But for me, the greatest gift is a mere thank you for something given. I mean, a sincere thank you.
