 the marathon iPod list...

...this will surely grow, change and evolve between now and March 2nd, the date of my FIRST marathon, the LA Marathon, but for now here are the tunes I've been adding to the list for this historic run:

"Run Lola Run" Soundtrack

Madonna Misc (Confessions and various singles)

Jonathan Goldman, "Chakra Dance"

Misc tunes from the Matrix and Reloaded Sountracks & Scores

"How Soon Is Now?" by T.A.T.U. (just the single)

"Keep Hope Alive" by The Crystal Method

Misc tunes from "Furious Angels" double album by Rob Dougan (BRILLIANT album)

Misc tunes from Nine Inch Nails

More to come but this is the starting lineup of inspiring running tunes thus far. I'm particularly fond of the Run Lola Run CD, Chakra Dance (THAT is an incredible concept and product) and some of the Rob Dougan tracks are just astoundingly energetic and beautiful.

I'm going to have about 6 hours or so with me, hoping that I'll finish in around 5 which leaves me room to skip around on my song selection. But since this is my first experience running a marathon, though definitely NOT my last, I'll just have to see how it all flows...
