Great rant, and I agree with every single word of it. this is utter BULLSHIT. The fact that this happened an hour out of my very own home freaks me out even more (though it really doesn't matter as this has set the precedent...although I wonder if the family with take it to the supreme court?). This is SICK and fucking WRONG. Next thing you know, those of us who choose holistic treatments over barbaric methods will be locked up in a mental institution being deemed as "insane".

You know what kills me about this? This family has a caring bridge website setup for the child, they are asking for donations to cover the cost of his treatments. If the government is going to force them, against their will, to get the treatments, why the hell aren't they paying for them? Gah...the whole thing pisses me off.
