HAHAHAHA!!! Yeah...that is pretty retarded (and yes, I am so still using my politically incorrect term, thank you :-o). People just don't get it. I had a friend of mine try to tell me that recycling did no good because the companies that collect it just toss it anyway. Uhhh...what?!?! Too bad I have VISITED these places and no they don't, what are you listening too? Granted, recycling isn't going to save our planet anytime in the near future, but it's better than not doing it that's for sure.

Ah, bah humbug. You're right, our race is ridiculous. We are just leeches. Over breeding.

Well, there are two sides to the recycling conundrum...people who think by recylcing plastic bags and bottles it's making a difference...it's not anymore. There are millions of them piled up in landfills because they can't keep up with the demand - too many new ones rolling in by the hundreds of thousands. Only a fraction of what we put into recycling really gets recycled...the rest will sit there, never breaking down. And when I talked to someone who worked in the recycling dept at a major studio, he admitted outright that about 30% of the paper, etc we toss in there to recycle gets used. Just not enough room, time, power.
