You made a difficult and very humane choice for Doppy...it's one of the hardest things in the world. I still remember holding my dog, Cotton, in my arms as they put her to sleep, she was in so much pain. We knew it was the only choice really, but it didn't make it any easier.

Ugh, the Bible...one of the most powerful pieces of creative fiction or historical fiction I've ever seen. I think aspects could be true, but so much has been distorted, deleted and diluted...still, I see your point and it's a good one. Personally, I think the people who bed-hop and use others...

That's a wonderful time to be out here...not too hot, really lovely, and I think that might be when Topanga Days happen each year? I can't remember?! it's this massive festival of music, food and hippiness. But whether that's happening or not, that would be a great time to come! Keep me posted!

Topanga is an interesting paradox...I've spent a LOT of time there. It's beautiful and enticing and unique, but there's an unapproachable element there too, very harsh nature. The people are also pretty stand-offish and it's very hippy-dippy on the facade but when you're not "one of them" and...
