Thank you sistas! It's nice to feel supported and validated in my choice to live as a Luddite. I think this weekend I'll start by flat out turning my cell OFF when I'm out and about in my car, and just not carrying it when I'm walking around my hood. It's a good thing to have for emergencies...

I absolutely love the way you write- truthful, powerful, lovely. And I have to admit it was all so familiar I got goosebumps. I even posted a blog on my MySpace page this year called "no on special", about how painful it is to feel or hear that from someone you DO think is special.
