| The Good, the bad and the ugly

My computer got well and I got sick. Allergies and a virus tried to kill me but I am a tough old bird. It got me down but not out. Ron has done it again. He came from behind and pulled out the big upset in the fight for bragging rights of the Graves County Pee Wee football. He scored the winning touch down with 22 seconds on the clock. My hero....Check out the new photo I posted. That's me and Ron in a few years. When he goes I'm going with him. Yesterday I got my birthday surprise from my daughter...it almost killed me. Again with the dead stuff. She arranged for me to go horse back riding with some of her friends. It was a glorious day weather wise and I rode a big old yella horse ( do you sense a theme here..I have a yellow dog, cat and now I'm riding a palomino horse ) He was very well trained and well within my area of expertise. We rode for four and a half hours!!!! Yikes! Half way through I started to not feel so good but I had put some Ibuprofen in my picket so I took those I rested the horse but I didn't get off. I had trouble mounting cause of the wide load I carry on my backside. I made it and it was too much fun. Today I have a few sore spots but all told I feel good.

Congratulations to the best coach of pint-sized football players that I know. That had to be exciting!
I am so glad you enjoyed your day of horseback riding. It sounds so wonderful and I want you to know I am so jealous!
And now back to sports - you ARE cheering our Indians on are you not?!!!
