Meet the Parents

Well, this weekend was crazy fun. Friday kinda blew because i spent the night at home drinking wine alone, while reading stuff for class, but regardless, Saturday made up for it with flying colors. I did start out saturday at the library, doing some research, that basically was pointless, because i have completely run screaming from that topic and discovered a new, better, topic. Anyway, so around 5pm i left campus and headed out to Jesse's house. He met me where i get off the train, and transfer to the bus. Mainly because i don't know which stop on the bus to get off on. So, he met me and we went to his house, i'm the 3rd person that has ever been over to his house, so i felt special. I got the tour and all and then we went out to a japanese steak house for dinner. my only complaint is they didn' t have shrimp sauce...boooo! But the company was good and we had a good time. Then we went back to his brother's apt (where we were staying the night b/c staying w/ mom and dad wasn't very kosher)... his brother wasn't there, and we had time to kill before going to the bar, so we watched a little TV and ended up fucking for a while on the couch...but don't tell his brother hahahaha!... Then i got ready and we went to the bar. This is the place that Jesse and his Brother go every weekend, and apparently there is never anyone there...until I go for the first time and it is shoulder to shoulder...Granted, it was their 30th anniversary party, so i guess it was to be expected, but alas... So we get some drinks and stand around talking for a bit, waiting on his friends to show up. Melissa, Renne, and Brian are the first to arrive. Great people! I had a great time getting to know them and just having casual conversation with people. I usually spend most of my time in class, or reading so i don't really socialize THAT often. Anyway, So I didn't buy any of my drinks...thank you Jesse, and this random old guy who was buying all the girls in the bar drinks...bless his pathetic heart, he was like 70 trying to pick up 20somethings... but i will give him credit, it took some balls to do what he did. I really didn't appreciate it when he pinched my face, but its okay because Jesse made him feel really uncomfortable for it :).. it is nice to have a boy who will do things like that for you..ya know?

So the night progresses, and finally Jesse's brother shows up at the bar. He had been out w/ other friends previously, and It was good to meet him. He's a riot..very loud though...but a good guy...with a lot of personality. Eventually, after everyone is shitty drunk, and the bar is closing, we decide to walk back to Jesse's brother's apt. Upon arrival, we lay on the couch and pass out almost immediatly.. granted, sleeping on this small of a couch w/ two people, is REALLY uncomfortable!!!!! So after like 3 or 4 hours of sleep, we wake up and lay around watching TV..dozing here and there... Eventually his brother wakes up and we all go have lunch. then back to the apt for a movie and a nap and then dinner w/ his parents. They were nice, very sweet and quiet people. despite the fact that i had seriously greezy hair, they still liked me and thought i was very nice.. According to Jesse that is... Then we left and his brother drove me home...such a nice guy for that one :)... All in all it was a great weekend...and I officially passed the test and have moved to the status of official girlfriend. Oh, and his friend Brian was asking me what i did and such and how we met and whatever, and when i told him what i was studying, he turns and hits Jesse, and said "What did you do? write a letter asking for the perfect girl and someone actually answered it?"....apparently i'm his type to a T...and that made me smile!!!

Ok...i have to go do some more reading...and then i have a book review to write and a boyfriend to talk to for a bit. Hope you're all well...and living life to the fullest!!
