Leave it to the girls....

So tonight my uncle and I went out to dinner and a movie..on him..because he loves me :). We had a blast! Ate some rather mediocre bbq and went and saw the late show of Sex and the City. Since we both haven't been to a movie in FOREVER and all the Batman's were sold out, it was the next best thing. We were both avid watchers of the show and it seemed only logical to go see it.

I have to say that the movie ROCKED! I thought it was a great ending to a fantastic show, and I can only hope that one day I will have my own happy ending. I didn't come to NY to fall in love like Carrie did in her 20s, but I'm not ruling out the possibility, infact i embrace the idea and hope it happens, but i'm not looking because when you look it never finds you. I want love more than most things in this world..more than fame, glory, recognition, whatever, and I hope one day it finds me. Even though my sister has determined that the 3 of us (all 3 sisters) are going to end up old and alone w/ cats living together. its not a horrible thing, we'd be like the Golden Girls, or the YaYa sisterhood. However, i think she is just a little down because she and her BF broke up recently, so she's in the "i am not good for anyone" stage. She needs to branch out...thats her only real problem. She has never left home, never paid rent on her own or anything like that, but she's more responsible than i am overall. it doesn't matter.

Anyway, so despite all the hardships in this world, love is one thing that we all have to look foward to. It doesn't matter if you're ugly or pretty, skinny or fat, disabled or perfectly normal...it always finds us, its just hard to see sometimes, but once you do its the most beautiful thing in the whole world and I can't wait!

I guess that is why so many people write about it and sing about it...its just one thing that everyone always wants.
