| still trying to figure out the "grown up thing"

Yesterday was the prelimiary voting for president...I was unaware of this until lunchtime when one of my closest friends asked me who I voted for. We have completely different political and religious views...completely different. And she knows this and she also knows that I refuse to discuss those 2 topics to her after we where at Walmart one night and somehow on the way there got into a religious conversation. This conversation started on the way there, continued all the way through the store (which we all know that at Walmart can be some time) then didn't end until we got back to her house where by this point I am yelling at her, bc she made me so mad when she told me I was going to hell and she would pray for me. So she still after all this time decides to ask me who I voted for. Well I obviously didn't even know we were supposed to be voting...not bc I don't care about politics, but bc I am still getting into the swing of the "grown up thing" Even if I had voted I would still have never told her simply bc it would start a debate. Don't get me wrong I am up for a debate at almost any time...but I have decided since I was informed that I was going to hell I choose not to have have these kinds of discussions with her. Also I have decided that I am not completely informed about which person I would like to vote for. I don't really care what color, sex, or religion a person is, if they are going to the best job then that person should be the one in charge...but that may be the "idealist person" in me. So to state for the record... I do care about politics, but I also care enough to not go in blind and make a shitty decision. And I think that is the most "grown up" thing I can do at the moment.
