 A Book In The Making
I've been asking a question in many venus. The question is "What Do You Think God Sees When He Looks At You?" There have been many answers to date. I am getting my "sox blessed off" by the responses. What started out as a question I asked at the first meeting of a couple of ladies God directed me too, in order to disciple them (God thru me!). I was praying for guidance and reading His Word to see what He wanted me to say and do this first meeting. All He would give me was, "Ask them what they think I (God) see when I look at them." I asked them to take their time and write down their answers.

Next thing I knew He had me ask this question as a Forum in the Christian section in my blog right here on  thoughts.com. It has prompted some discussions which I read. Although I must admit I really wish the devil would stay away from Christian sites. Yet, God sometimes leads me to ones He wants me to give a short gospel and challenge of "now that you have heard about Jesus, you can no longer stand before God and say you don't know who He is. So, what are you going to do with Jesus?" In most cases it is sowing seeds and leaving the results to God.

Now my article is becoming what I believe is a book in the making. I have sent the question to every Christian I know. The responses are so diverse and unique. It's opening my eyes. Because when I started this I felt there was only one answer. But, that is not the case. God is so good.

If you would like to send the question and my email address (ljc444@yahoo.com) to all your Christian friends it would be appreciated. I want children as well as people of all ages. God has something in mind which is becoming clearer with each step I take. I don't know what the finished product will look like but God does and I pray that by my obedience He will be Glorified and made known to many more as their Lord and Savior and of the people that already know Him I pray they will be drawn closer to Him.

God spoke to me last night at the home church we attend. This morning He told me to put it on Facebook so He could speak to many more. This is what He said, "I know your heart.... surrender to me.... I am The Way and the Truth..... walk ye in Me..... Draw close to Me..... Feel My heart beat.... Let Me love you..... Let Me rein in you.... Let Me rein on you..... and let me rein out of you!

God is doing a work in those that love Him. The scenario of Jesus asking Peter, "Do you love me?" "Then feed my sheep." He asked Peter that 3 times. Today God is asking those that say they love Him..... Do you love Me?.....

A broken box that spilled out its contents and was thrown in the trash, this trash he claimed and with his carpenters hands reassembled. Then he filled it with mementos of his love and is sometimes the centerpiece for his guests to ponder. Thank you, Lord
I came from dysfunctionality and could have gone the ways of my peers and kinfolk, yet he called me on a Sunday evening, December 7th, 1975 while I was walking on the Navy base in Pearl Harbor, Hi. on the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
I prayed, "God if you're really there please send somebody to help me". I took about ten steps and two men appeared from around the corner of a barracks some fifty yards away. As they approached they asked if they could speak to me, I enquired, "About what?" They said, "We want to tell you about Jesus". I accepted that day and hour the Lordship of the Messiah Jesus and his forgiveness for my sins and I have spent the past 35 yars learning just who my Lord is and have experienced his tender mercies ever since.

Before reading your comment I checked out your profile. Quite the varied background!
I've been a Christian for 38 years. I've been slow to learn and definitely still learning. I've been thru a lot in my life. But He was with me even before I knew who He was. In the past year + a few months He has taken me from being completely overwhelmed by life and what was coming my way; into a relationship I never knew was possible. The simplicity of it is mind boggling. I'd "heard" it all before and knew it with my mind. Over time it was trickling down to my heart. Now it is taking over my whole being!! God is guiding me into areas I never dreamed possible. Yet, I go now, knowing deep down, He is guiding me and it will happen. In the natural, I know not how. In His time it will become reality!
May I use what you wrote as an answer to my question in my book? I love it! It's so interesting....I embarked on a small scale by asking 2 women a question God gave to me, assuming I knew His answer. How wrong I was!! How exciting this journey is! Each day I learn more of Him as He speeks thru his beloved children!
I'm not using any names in the book. Just what people write.
Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family.
Where in KY are you from? I lived there for 5 years way back when!!

Though we are born into this world, don't be of this world.

I will respond and give the answer(s) to your question(s) before the end of the weekend.

Thank you, no hurry. Was your quote encouragement or do you feel I'm heading the way of this world? I pray not to be of this world.

Thank you so very much. Glorifying our Father and bringing others into a deeper understanding and relationship with Him is what it's all about. Thanks!
I lived in Richmond, Ky for 5 years back in the early 60's.
Have driven thru Baltimore, never lived there.
