I
really want to know everything
My
first full time ministry was as associate pastor of a healthy,
growing church in Irving, Texas. The senior pastor was a very
intelligent and highly motivated minister from whom I learned much.
More than once I heard him quip “I really want to know everything.
But, when I do nobody will like me because nobody likes a 'know it
all”.
I
picked up the idea “I really want to know everything”. But
recently, as the “information age” has developed full steam I
have come to realize that I really don't want to “know
everything”. I do want to know a lot. Things that relate to my
life. Other things I can look up on the Internet
No
use wasting my limited brain power.
