If you asked me five years ago did I like goats, i would have said a definate "No".  When we moved to our 10 acres I was talked into purchasing two mini goats and my story starts there.  These little guys are sooooo addictive, we now have a breeding herd of 22, all of which know their names are of excellent temperament and we know each and every one of them inside out.  They are all have very different personalities, some being quite shy whilst others are bossy and mischevious.  We have all different colors including spots, ptaches, solids and even ones with stripes on their faces and down their backs.  You can see more of these on our website www.aadorableminigoats.com.  They are inexpensive, you can keep more of the mini's than their larger cousins on small acreage, they are gentle on your soil and do not bite.  They follow me everywhere and come when they are called and when I am feeling blue - Wow not for long when I go down to their pen for a cuddle.
