I have been posting pretty consistently but its been hectic.  My baby fell jumping up and down in the bed this weekend and broke her collar bone! Talk about scary she was screaming and I tried to catch her and couldn't.  That just hurt my heart as it would with any mother.  My baby is doing better now she has a special little splint but still a little achy.  I am so thankful that although serious it could have been much worse.  Thank God. 

Everyone has been so concerned about her.  I have recieved so many calls, texts, email etc however I must admit one thing that bothers me is that my husbands mother hasn't had the same reaction.  She called our house the day after to ask about something else and when I told her she said "Oh man, I wanted you to bring her over to play with bubbles with me."  I was like oh well she would have loved that but we are in for the day its been a hectic ordeal for us, then I said you are more than welcome to come see her and play with her.  She always complains that we live to far from her (we live about 15-20 mins on the other side of the city).  But not only did she not come, she hasn't called, emailed or anything.  What is that about?  This is your only Granddaughter but she always talks about how important family is, but she doesn't really call my husband and didnt when he was away in the military.  I'm used to it as far as we go but I guess I just expected more for her with my daughter.  We try calling her and can't reach her.  Guess she has to much other stuff going on.
