 Conundrum
Over today has been a pretty good day.  Not too much going on besides talk about NCAA KU vs. Memphis tonight which I will be watching not that any of you care.
My weekend was pretty good I learned something.  I learned that no matter how bad you want someone to do something you simple can't make them till they get ready.  I know you are reading this like what in the world is she talking about.  Well here is the situation.  I am a Christian (not trying to persuade anyone) just stating the facts.  My husband is too however not a devout one.  I havent been either although as I have gotten older and see and understand things around me I have this urge to be more studious to my belief and my Lord and Savior.  Well I really wish my husband would get it together.  I mean things have been rough lately and I can only equate us staying sane etc not loosing our home and otherwise to blessing from the almighty.  Who am I to be ungrateful.  Well the odd thing is now I have been going to classes at my new church and loving the people there and the untraditionalness of it all (is that really a word) and I have tried to get him excited but he just isnt.  I know its a personal thing but it makes things kind of weird.  Me and our daughter go to church and she comes home singing sunday school songs.  I begin studying or talking with my grandmother about my new walk with Christ and he is just sitting there looking left out.  Since I have begun this walk its like a I have this new found energy and he is just this bump on a log.  I have prayed alot and hope he gets this job but I feel like until he truly asks for it and gives thanks for his blessings we are doomed in a sense. Hmm I dont know but Im done rambling.

I'm sorry your Husband isn't coming around.. but you never know what work the Lord is doing on his heart.

My husband is a wonderful man, yet he never reads his Bible and alarmed me the other day when he said he hasn't even prayed lately.

He would be just so awesome if he read and studied his Bible because he is so smart and articulate.

I wish he could be more than he is.. and lead our family spiritually.
Unfortunatly when I was away with the girls during Spring Break (he couldn't come) he didn't go to Sunday school or Sunday nights service, didn't go to the Bible Study he loves on Monday night and then on Wed night he didn't go. He only went Sunday morning.. but if I had been home.. he would have been right there.

All we can do is pray!

It excites me to see that you are falling in love with Jesus. That is the most important thingyou can do. It has got to be frustrating that your husband isn't turing to Jesus...but allyou can do is keep praying for Him and growing in God the way you are. Excitment about a relationship with Jesus is contagious...you will rub off on your husband and others even though you may not know it.
Press into God and He will press into you!
