 #2 a good start....where life begins.....

My father ,
from an upbringing of Jehovahs Witness descent.......remembering being critisized for not saluting the flag every morning in school...not celebrating birthdays, Xmas nor any other type of holidays, when i was very young. It seemed to be the normal thing. But still feeling different from everybody else. We had to go to the "meetings" 3 times a week, and to top it off going to the Catholic Church on sundays. Now that im an adult, incredible thinking that two adults could make you go through this all your childhood.
I as born in 1960, remembering that all the Jehovahs would talk about the "end of the world" in 1980. Imagine , making you think the most important part of your development in you life thinking at the age of 20 that the world will end. Naturally you want to live to the full of the short time of your possible life. Also for the same reason my parents never instilled the importance of a college education. So now here i am in the year 2008 , the world still hasent come to an end !!!! WELL WELL!!!
Going back when i was very young, 15 to be exact and last of 6 children. By that time my father of 81 and mother of 51, they where a bit soft my now. I think i have the same spirit of my father. Strong willed, looking for adventure, being successful ,even losing everything and getting up on your feet every time!
My father was really an incredible person, unfortunately he died at 83 and i was 17. I didnt have enough time to get to know all of him. But what i do know , he was born in probably one of the most incredible epocs of our lives. Born in 1984 seeing the first car, television, refrigerator and other beginings of modern and comfortable technology. Surviving the first and second world wars, the deathly influenza flu, the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the depression years.........etc.......he was a history book walking......I remember from his success in one of his businesses as a family having to go on television. And that he was running for mayor of California.........
I will continue ........in numeric siquence
