 Tongue Response
1:57pm--

I am writing this in response to a post by another person on this site. It is titled Tongue. In short, it is about women and how speaking vulgarly makes them ugly. It is also a sin against god. Those women who limit their vocabulary to "four letter words" are not beautiful and tarnish themselves by lacking self control, which is control of the tongue. It wasn't just the number of spelling and grammatical errors that made me absolutely despise this post. Some people think that the use of language can send them straight to hell.... oops... a 4 letter word... that i learned in church... wow. This post, the one that I am writing now, has nothing to do with my religious views. It is my opinion that anyone, man or woman, has the divine right to think and to voice their thoughts. When your thoughts consist of words, may they be of 4 letters or 10, it is your right to voice them are they are thought. When thoughts have to be modified to easily offended ears, they lose their value. I do think that some words should be saved for special occasions, but not necessarily for people. The author of "Tongue" makes mention of sailors and their vocabulary. To be honest, i wonder if they are implying that sailors are going to hell for their tongues. Perhaps the Navy is going to hell.... who knows. I am sure that the greatness of a person, no matter of their gender, will be completely looked over in the eyes of god, just because they use the word FUCK. By the way, I enjoy that word. It is a strong word for strong thoughts. I think that people shouldn't use it too liberally. It is starting to lose its value, and I think nothing should lose its value. As for the value of a woman... It is determined by those in her life. It is measured by the love given to her by her partner, by the love of her children, and all those she affects in her life. If she is kind and loving, then she has value. She can be as vulgar as she finds it fitting. I am not a vulgar person. But there are moments when words like " fuck", "ass", and worse are found fitting. As for the author of "tongue", I suggest you don’t limit your bad advice to just women. Men look like fools too when they are swearing all the time for no good reason.
