 Quitting the Ciggs
5:15 pm--

For anyone who has done this.. Im sure you know, its difficult to do. I started smoking Camel Lights in May, of 2006. Why? No particular reason, other than the high that i got from it. It wasn't like a drug high, it was more of a complete relaxation of my muscles and my mind. It didn't affect my senses, just lowered my stress.. and who doesn't want a quick stress relief session? I was never addicted to it. I never went out and bought packs. I generally bummed them off my friends. This past semester in school, i  was smoking almost every day. This never happened before. My random social ciggarette was turning into a daily thing, just a bad habit. This past october, i bought my first pack.. Then My Love told me that he detested smoking.. and so, i finished the pack, and never touched them since. But i notice that i think about them a lot more now, especially in times of stress. I start rubbing my fingers together, as if a cigg will pop up between them, out of thin air. My friends, that still smoke, congratulate me, but it is still hard when i  smell the smoke in the air. It makes the craving even stronger. I hope that other people have an easier time than i am having...
