You know, I generally try to be an open-minded person, and while being open-minded, I have often attempted to tune in to Liberalista TV, to give that side its chance to "inform" me.
After tonight, forget it. I'm going back to FOX News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and I am not looking back. Why?
I am 22 minutes away from concluding an awful encounter with Keith Olbermann, perhaps the worst Liberalista hatemonger on the air. In just this evening's broadcast on PMS-NBC, he has ridiculed both President Bush and Vice-President Cheney, he mocked FOX News, and he will before the broadcast is out, name Rudy Guiliani, the Worst Person of the month of October...that last one really hurts, considering what Rudy has done for this country.
My problem with Keith "Hatemonger" Olbermann is not with the fact that he can speak to a national...perhaps worldwide audience on TV, but the fact that pretty much every syllable that he utters is a hate-filled, venom-filled, bit of vitriol that has no relation to reality.
One instance of this was Keithy's attack on FOX News, saying that they forgot to wait until November before talking about October's US military casualties in Iraq. BIG DEAL, KEITH! The idea has been that there were less casualties in October than in the months before! What a complete moron!
Another instance was Keithy's quasi-apology, when he issued an apology for following an AP story on a recent campaign appearance, where the AP, and then Keithy misquoted Guiliani. I thought at that point that Olbermann was demonstrating some meager semblance of civility and politeness by admitting a mistake.
Then Keithy follows this up by naming Guiliani the Worse, Worser, and Worst Person in the World, beginning the rant by saying "What, just because we apologied, you think we'd let you off?"
The good news is that PMS-NBC has almost no audience, so Olbermann is talking to dead air. He'll have one less person watching after tonight. The quicker he crashes and burns, the better.
