Ok, lol, once again, like the many times I said it before...I AM DONE WITH DATING. I met the perfect guy and boom, noway in hell its going to work out. So I am marrying wine. Thats right the only thing im going to dedicate myself to is the pursuit of wine, art, and music, the only things that never seem to let me down. So here I go, I would give any thing to be normal, but its starting to appear that its never going to happen so why try anymore. I am going cold turkey, no more dating sites, no more checking out men at the beach, no more glancing at the craigs list missed connections, I realize now that have switched over....I am not a hopeless romantic anymore....I am just hopeless.I am not looking anymore, it hurts to bad when you have to turn away. Goodbye dating, hello crazy ferret lady.

hahaha i love your posts, especialy the part about the ferret! I can really relate to what you are going through. I am also "done" with dating, but then I think.. what is the alternative? I have had many negative experiences with men, but when I really think about it.. I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life. So really think about what you want. I don't think you should force yourself to date, but just don't close yourself off to any options. And you know what they say, it always happens when you're "not looking." So you're doing the right thing! And don't worry!

LOL The only thing I have run into while not looking is a wall! hahhaha. Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. :O) I have decided to leave the window open but keep the screen down. So I can still see what is out there but not let any wild animals into the house. heheh. Sorry, I am a metaphor addict. Thanks for your comment.
