| HEROIN TOOK HIM FROM HER....... |

"My son Dallas was born on October 10 1987 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He died July 12 2007 in Seattle Washington of an accidental heroin overdose.
......
He died on a clear and sunny Seattle day, the sun shining off of Elliot Bay and bringing a cool breeze up to the top of Queen Anne hill." -taken from "The Grieving Room" Blog.
These words came from the broken heart of a mother that recently lost her son to a heroin overdose. He was not just a "junky" as many people like to label someone who has this terrible disease of addiction. Dallas was a creative, loving, beautiful soul that took the wrong path and payed dearly for it. After starting out smoking pot and trying Rx pills with his friends, he tried heroin at the age of 15 and was INSTANTLY hooked on it. Despite his mother and families' attempts to save him, he lost his battle on July 12, 2007. His desire to quit was not strong enough to win his battle with this monster that took over his life. I came across his mother's blog site randomly when I was searching for some images on google. I was instantly drawn in by her impassioned words and intense pain that now ingulfs her life now. My goal here by writing this is to help her to get the story of Dallas out there so that maybe it will be of help to even one person who might desperately need to hear it. If you know of anyone who may need to hear Dallas's story or just want to help spread it for all the world to hear so that his life will not be forgotten, PLEASE, share her website with others!! Take a moment for yourself to also read his story, you will not soon forget it. I have posted the web address below.
In loving memory of Dallas Nguyen...
