After having a successful dumping of my garbage outside at 2am this morning, my landlord just came by. Luckily I had just woke up and had enough time to throw a shirt over my pyjamas. He wanted to show me how to sort the garbage. Turns out, I'm the only one who really doesn't use those super-special 4,000 won bags from Home Plus.
When they asked me how many were mine, I saw that I wasn't the only vigilante but I still said only "1". I think I hear them knocking on someone else's door too. Yikes.
It was alsmost as weird as when he came by to explain the gas bill and somehow through misscommunication I ended up only paying 8,000 won instead of the 27,000. Most of it was from the girl who lived here before me but I'm sure I owed more than that. Score: 1 for the foreigner and 0 for language understanding.
When we got downstairs his wife was going threw the bags. I felt really bad. They've been helpful since I got here. Especially through that disappearing hot water phase. A good thing about this is that she went over when I can throw everything out....though; I'm probably still going to continue my late night runs. I don't want people associating me with my garbage. Like I said they look through it! From that, the good thing is, is that they are very recycling friendly.

THROUGH the bags, not THREW the bags. You're an English teaching for god's sake! ;P
It makes me happy that they are recycling friendly. I think I might die of guilt if I couldn't recycle. But they seriously look THROUGH your garbage? I better go on the pill or they'll know exactly how much sex I'm having.
