Another day...and they are out of school for winte
Realistically, I should be exstatic about the two weeks I will be spending with my children.  I do love to play with them, and baking together this time of year is a favorite of all of ours...But I also know there will be disagreements to referee, more messes to clean up (as noone seems to know where the dishwasher is or what it is for, not to mention where the hamper is and...what exactly is that for???) However, here I am just the same, blessed with two children who make me grit my teeth, and laugh joyously.  Two sides of the spectrum, and they are worth every second of it.

They also make me desperately want more...I want to give to them without feeling guily about next months credit card bills that will begin to pile on the table...at least until our tax returns, anyway.  I also want to give to my nieces and nephews the same...I know, I know, material things arent' that important, but lets face it, those material things have a lot to do with how the kids feel at school and in other social situations...they want to fit in and they want to be "cool", even more so than they want to get good grades...has it always been like this, or did something change along the way as we reach the end of 2007...

And men, husbands in particular...well,t hat is another blog for another time, but I will be getting to that SOON!!!
Including the eye candy that we can't help but want a part of, even if it's just a little smidget, like a seemingly innocent glance:)

Don't forget to take time for yourself today, and ALWAYS Think outside the box!!!  Everything happens for a reason, even if we don't understand it!!!

You are not alone in these thoughts. My four have a half day left. We gave them too much this year, they make me crazy but I couldn't love them more. Know one thing, you are not alone.
