Is there anyone out there whose man will choose watching cricket over spending time with you? My man does...

Tonight, I was looking forward to spending some quality time together. Go out for dinner and do something interesting. Sounds like a nice plan doesn't it? Well, it was until he found out the cricket was on tonight! And then he couldn't understand why I got so upset! It's not the first time either.

The thing is, we don't live together. So, when I do come over, you'd expect that you'd hang out together. No... not when the cricket is on...

Cricket may be an interesting and exciting game for a lot Aussies. Personally, I see it as the equivalent of watching paint dry, grass grow... whatever analogy to describe how boring the bloody game is.

I usually just stay away from him when the cricket's on and I just do my own thing for the night. But tonight, I was expecting a decent night together. Not a night of waiting, getting the shits 'cos I'm waiting, and then just going back home anyway.

And so.. here I am... on the internet like a total nerd on a Friday night just because my boyfriend would rather watch cricket than spend time with me. That is so sad and pathetic.
