I met someone off an on-line dating service.  I was skeptical and truly didn't think I'd meet someone worthwhile.  I was hesitant to even meet up with him because honestly, he could've been some weirdo, psycho, weird and weird looking!

He was exactly like what his profile said.  We talked on the phone for a bit and had so much in common and interests.  We both laughed at each other's jokes, and almost instantly we were comfortable with each other.  As if we've known each other for the longest time.  We planned to meet up in a week, but we both became impatient.  So we went on a lunch date.  It went surprisingly well.  He looked even better than the pictures.  We laughed the whole time.  Almost instantly we were comfortable with each other.  By the end of the date we were holding hands and have already kissed.  Later on in the evening, after I was done work, I went over to his place and we watched a movie.  It felt like it's something we do all the time.  I wasn't nervous, I wasn't shy, I wasn't scared of this guy I hardly knew.  Nothing happened, which was refreshing for a change.  Lately I've been dating the guys that only want to get in my pants. 

I am planning on taking this day by day.  I won't assume too much and get my hopes up.  I will just see how it goes and hope for the best. 

Things are going good.  I hope this is a sign that next year, 2008, will be better than 2007.
